On Monday we received some very sad news. Our dog, Willow, has cancer. It is a lymphoma cancer so it is through her entire lymph system. Unfortunately there is not a good treatment for her. The vets can not give us a good prognosis with either the chemotherapy or radiation. The best we have been told is maybe 6 months after treatment and she would be miserable for the duration of the treatment that would last 3-4 month. What we decided to do is do a lot of steroid injections on Saturday and that should make her comfort able for 2-4 weeks. We will spoil and watch her for the next few weeks and decide when the right time will be. we will be enjoying her for the next few weeks until we have to say good-bye.
